Dana Stewart’s passion for nutrition began in the kitchen with her mother, where she grew up watching her effortlessly use herbs, spices, and foods to support the family’s well-being. Her mother always seemed to know exactly what the body needed and why—and that quiet wisdom sparked Dana’s lifelong fascination with how nourishment can truly transform health.
This early exposure not only shaped Dana’s understanding of food as a foundational form of care, but also inspired her own dedication to health. Over the years, she experienced firsthand how intentional dietary and lifestyle habits could positively influence energy, resilience, and overall well-being. That personal transformation ultimately drove her to pursue advanced training so she could help others experience the same.
Dana is deeply committed to increasing food literacy and empowering clients to understand the why behind their everyday choices. She believes that when people truly grasp how nutrition influences symptoms, metabolism, mood, and long-term health, they gain the confidence to make changes that feel both achievable and meaningful.
With a strong foundation in integrative and evidence-based nutrition, Dana supports clients navigating chronic illnesses, autoimmune conditions, metabolic imbalances, and blood sugar regulation. She is especially passionate about women’s health—guiding individuals through preconception, pregnancy, and postpartum with clarity, compassion, and a practical, whole-person approach. She understands how overwhelming these transitions can be and provides education and support that help clients feel seen, capable, and grounded.
Dana’s approach is collaborative, culturally inclusive, and rooted in sustainability. She loves finding creative ways to help clients meet their health goals while still enjoying their favorite meals and cultural cuisine. To her, nourishment should feel supportive and joyful—not restrictive.
She holds a Master of Science in Clinical Nutrition from Maryland University of Integrative Health and is a Certified Nutrition Specialist (CNS). Before entering private practice, Dana spent eight years designing client-centered operational systems in the wellness and education space, equipping her with the ability to guide people through behavior change with empathy, clarity, and practical strategy.
Whether she’s helping someone prepare for a healthy pregnancy, strengthen postpartum recovery, manage chronic illness, or build a more empowered relationship with food, Dana’s goal remains the same: to provide personalized, evidence-based guidance that helps clients feel better, live better, and understand their health on a deeper level.
Outside of work, Dana enjoys knitting, diving into cozy mysteries, and experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen. She also loves staying active by exploring the outdoors with her husband and energetic toddler, finding joy in the simple moments they share together.
